2008 Camp of Instruction (Black Horse) & Live Fire Competition

The sergeants instruct the men in the proper way to "present arms." Pvt. Crosswhite shoots.  He earned the nickname, "Stony," as he actually hit the bridge he is standing on while firing from long range.
What happens when 1st Sgt. Clinton lays his musket on the stack?  musket dominos.... Sgt. Clinton is either sleeping or is a casualty....

Longstreet's Corps Meeting
The Corps meeting is well attended.  Over 100 representatives of member companies...infantry, cavalry, artillery, and navy/marines Bobby and Lester of the 51st Virginia, our sponsors in the Corps

Battle of Morristown 2007

Day 1 fighting.  Cavalry presses from one side and infantry from the other.  A tight spot.  Yes, that's Cheaves on the right. 63d's camp at historic Bethesda Church
Day 2 fighting.  The 63d is on the move.  Sgt. Barnett had already bought the big one. The last charge at the Battle of Morristown.  That's Dan Patterson, descendant of Gen. Longstreet, with the 63d's colors!
